🦖📚 Summer Reading Week 2 Recap! 🌎
What a fun week of adventure at UCPL! Our explorers enjoyed storytimes, dinosaur bingo, creative writing, STEAM activities, volcano art, fossil and geode exploration, Dino Olympics, candy sushi, an international snack taste test, and a movie matinee.
From hands-on learning to active play, the library was filled with curious minds, big smiles, and lots of laughter all week long.
Thank you to everyone who joined us—we can’t wait to see what adventures next week brings!

Did you know the Library is a great place to dig into creative writing this summer? ✍️📚
Join us every Monday from 12:30–1:30 PM for our Creative Writing program, designed for ages 8+. Kids are invited to explore their imagination through fun writing prompts, creative activities, and storytelling adventures that help bring their ideas to life.
Whether they’re brand new to writing or already love crafting stories, this is the perfect place to dig in, get inspired, and let creativity grow! ✨

Crack Open Some Scientific Fun! 🔬🪨
Join us at the library on Friday, June 19 from 5:00–6:00 PM for a hands-on adventure in geology!
We’re excited to welcome Sarah Emrick, of Rocks, Roots & Wild Things, who will teach participants all about geodes and rock formations. After learning, each participant will get the chance to crack open their very own geode to take home and start (or grow!) their rock collection.
This program is open to patrons of all ages- bring your friends and come explore with us!
Space is limited, so registration is required. Don’t miss out on this rock-solid good time!
